About the baker

Oh Lala! Cakes is a customized cake studio located in Northbrook, IL. We bake special occasion treats for weddings, bridal and baby showers, birthday parties, and holidays.

Oh Lala! Cakes is owned and operated by Daniela Segoviano and unlike other bakers out there, she didn’t grow up baking in the kitchen with her Mom or Grandma, she doesn’t have a treasured family recipe cookbook, and had absolutely no background in baking before she found her passion for it at age 28 when she moved to New York City and discovered all the sweet treasures this city has to offer. As for most home bakers it all started with some muffins, then brownies, a cheesecake followed by a full sized cake.
